Royal Credit Union named Diamond Awards recipient amid record-breaking competition

Royal Credit Union (Royal) was among 180 credit unions nationwide named as winners of the prestigious Diamond Award.  The Diamond Awards recognize the top credit union marketing efforts from across the US and are presented at the America’s Credit Unions Marketing, PR, and Business Development conference. Royal received the Category’s Best Award in the Content Marketing Category showcasing Royal’s Money Donuts podcast and the related social media and YouTube content.

James Plendl, Royal’s marketing content supervisor, accepted the award on behalf of the Royal’s marketing team. “We are so proud of this accomplishment!” said Andrea Finn, Royal’s marketing manager. “A special thank you goes to our Money Donut hosts - Steve Dayton, Cooper Larson, Alexis Roux-Seboe, and James Plendl along with many other Royal team members that have played a part in the success of our Money Donuts podcast.”

The Marketing, PR & Development Council of America’s Credit Unions published the list of all winners for its annual Diamond Awards, recognizing the best marketing campaigns in the credit union industry from the past year. Credit unions, advertising agencies, and associations submitted 1,400 entries for the prestigious awards. In all, 180 organizations from 42 states were selected as winners.
