As a “compliance wonk” (that is a legal term, you know), I have worked with the Federal Financial Regulators for thirty years.  Generally speaking, they do a good job, and the information contained on their web sites can be very helpful.  However, it can also be very difficult to find some information on their web sites, unless you spend a great deal of time working with them or are a “Master” at web searches.

For the reasons stated above, RTEfs is adding a Resources page to our web site.  Many compliance providers include such a page on their sites.  However, our focus is not going to be links to federal and state regulators or the compliance regulations, but rather to documents, calculators and other useful tools the regulators create and make available for your use and the education and use of your consumers.  Items such as insurance deposit estimators, model privacy notice form builders and consumer brochures on the Bank Secrecy Act are just a few of the items we have added to our resource pages.  As we uncover more in our never ending journey through the regulators web sites, we will continue to add them to our Resource List.

If you have items you are using from their web sites today, and we do not have it, send it our way and we will share it with all of the financial institutions.  If you know of items that we don’t have, send them our way as well.
