The RTN Federal Credit Union Employees Community Outreach Committee sponsored and served dinner on December 10 for close to 60 men and women at the Bristol Lodge Soup Kitchen in Waltham. The Lodge is one of the non-profit organizations and charities in local communities that the Employees Community Outreach Committee supports regularly through personal donations and contributions of RTN employees’ time.
“Our ongoing partnership with Bristol Lodge is very special, and we are honored to sponsor and serve dinner during the holiday season as well as other times during the year,” says RTN Regional Branch Manager Robin Hartnett and Committee Chair. “It is a privilege to serve the people in our community and experience the appreciation they have for such a simple act of kindness. It’s a wonderful expression of our employees’ volunteer spirit in action to help those in need.”
Bristol Lodge is a program of the Middlesex Human Services Agency, a long-time RTN employer group. The soup kitchen, located at Immanuel United Methodist Church on Moody Street, serves daily hot meals for local residents in need.
