RTN employees sponsor dinner at Bristol Lodge Soup Kitchen

WALTHAM, MA (January 31, 2018) — The RTN Federal Credit Union Employees Community Outreach Committee sponsored and served dinner on January 30 for close to sixty-five men and women at the Bristol Lodge Soup Kitchen in Waltham. The Lodge is one of the non-profit organizations and charities in local communities that the Committee supports annually through personal donations and contributions of their free time.

“I am proud of our employees’ volunteer spirit and their helping those in need,” says RTN Regional Branch Manager Robin Hartnett and committee chair. “Our ongoing partnership with Bristol Lodge is very special, and we are honored to sponsor and serve dinner a few times during the year. It is a privilege to serve the people in our community and experience the appreciation they have for such a simple act of kindness.”

Bristol Lodge is a program of the Middlesex Human Services Agency, a long-time RTN employer group. The soup kitchen, located at Immanuel United Methodist Church on Moody Street, serves daily hot meals for local residents in need.
