RTN Federal Credit Union and Bentley Fraternity donate winter clothes to Community Day Center
WALTHAM, MA (November 9, 2016) — Community Day Center in Waltham received a donation of winter clothing on November 8 from RTN Federal Credit. The Iota-Theta Chapter of Sigma Pi Fraternity at Bentley University collected several bags of hats, sweaters, shirts, pants, and socks as one of its community projects and as a collaborative effort with RTN.
Simon Levenson, a junior at Bentley who is currently a Business Development Intern at RTN and serves as Sergeant at Arms of the Fraternity, helped organized the clothing drive. “It’s great to be able to give back to a great cause in the local community through a combination of my student involvement with my Fraternity Brothers and RTN, the internship workplace that I love,” says Levenson. “It’s truly exciting to see the good that can be accomplished in such a short period of time. Our Fraternity is always looking for philanthropy and community service opportunities, so hopefully we can help out again.”
The Community Day Center in Waltham, which provides day services for the homeless and people in need in Waltham, is an RTN Select Employee Group (SEG).
