RTN Federal Credit Union participates in Tewksbury Police Department’s Community Safe Halloween Event
WALTHAM, MA (November 2, 2017) — Staff from RTN Federal Credit Union scooped and served popcorn, and hosted an information table as a business sponsor of the Tewksbury Police Department’s 19th Annual Community Safe Halloween Event on October 29.
Hundreds of kids and community residents dressed up in costumes and gathered at the Tewksbury Memorial High School to enjoy a day of games, face painting, arts and crafts, a costume contest and safety demonstrations. In addition to those activities, there was also “touch a truck” courtesy of Northeastern Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council (NEMLEC), a SWAT Armored Rescue Vehicle, and a K9 dog show.
“Safety is not just about crime and injury prevention; it is about building a strong, cohesive bond between the community and law enforcement officials” says Linda DeSimone, RTN’s Tewksbury branch manager. “It was great to be a part of this festive day as part of our role in the community.”
