RTN GoodWorks Foundation has donated $2,500 to three community partners – Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless, Healthy Waltham and Family Health Center of Worcester. The funds were raised through the RTN Circle of Hope Winter Fundraiser to help families experiencing food insecurity during COVID-19.
Funds will be distributed by RTN’s community partners as $200 food store gift cards and pre-packaged meals. With the funds donated to Family Health Center of Worcester, RTN is a lead donor of their upcoming Winter Walk Worcester virtual event raising funds to support their Homeless Outreach and Advocacy Program (HOAP) and Healthcare for Homeless Families program.
“We are grateful for the generous support from Credit Union business sponsors, members and staff who stepped up to help people experiencing food insecurity during COVID-19,” says Joan Kuhn, Chair of the Board of Directors, RTN GoodWorks Foundation. “Their donations support the tireless efforts of our designated community partners to help those in need during this crisis.”
