RTN’s Maria Thomasian named Credit Union Rising Star
WALTHAM, MA (April 21, 2016) — Maria Thomasian, Business Development Officer at RTN Federal Credit Union, has been selected as a 2016 Credit Union Rising Star by the Cooperative Credit Union Association. The award recognizes the brightest and most vibrant young credit union employees in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island.
Thomasian is one of 13 who will be honored at a special breakfast at the 2016 Great New England Credit Union Show on April 28 in Boxborough.
“Rising Stars is a great program to identify and acknowledge those next leaders who will ensure credit unions stay strong,” said Cooperative Credit Union Association President/CEO Paul Gentile.
Thomasian joined the RTN staff three years ago as a Loan Processor and was promoted to her current position as Business Development Officer in January 2015. In addition to her day-to-day responsibilities at RTN, she is active in thecommunity. She sits on the board of the Dorchester Park Committee and is involved in RTN’s Walk Home in Dorchester. She is pursuing her bachelor’s in business from New England College of Business and Finance.
