Samantha Lui joins Golden 1 Credit Union’s Board of Directors
SACRAMENTO, CA (December 18, 2017) — Samantha Lui has joined the Golden 1 Credit Union (Golden 1) Board of Directors. Lui serves as the Assistant Secretary for the State of California Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA). As a governor-appointee, she provides fiscal and policy recommendations to the Secretary of HHSA.
Lui brings a background in budget and fiscal policy to her position on Golden 1’s Board of Directors. Prior to her appointment as Assistant Secretary at HHSA she was a consultant for the California State Senate Committee on Budget and Fiscal Review. She was a consultant for the California State Senate Committee on Governance and Finance from 2011 to 2013 and a California Senate Fellow from 2010 to 2011. Lui graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in International Development Studies and a Minor in Urban Planning and Public Health.
