San Diego County Credit Union® (SDCCU®), San Diego’s largest locally-owned financial institution, partnered with the Holiday Bowl and the San Diego Blood Bank to host a blood drive at SDCCU Stadium, collecting 396 donations, which will impact at least 1,188 lives.
The inaugural SDCCU Holiday Bowl Blood Drive was held on November 21 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at SDCCU Stadium, located at 9449 Friars Rd. in Mission Valley. Donors received a pair of tickets to the San Diego County Credit Union Holiday Bowl, which will be played on December 27 at SDCCU Stadium. Donors also had the opportunity to enter for a chance to spend 30 seconds in the SDCCU Cash Cube, a large container that blows money around through the air.
