San Diego County Credit Union® (SDCCU®), one of Southern California’s largest locally-owned financial institutions, returns as the presenting sponsor of The San Diego Union-Tribune Countywide Spelling Bee, presented in collaboration with the San Diego County Office of Education on March 9, 2023, at the Town and Country Resort in Mission Valley.
The San Diego Union-Tribune Countywide Spelling Bee is open to 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade students in public or private schools with a combined enrollment of 30 or more children. The winner will be awarded the title of Spelling Bee Champion and will receive an all-expense-paid trip to compete in the 2023 Scripps National Spelling Bee.
