San Diego County Credit Union sponsors the 2016 San Diego Women’s Week
Week of events inspire, empower and connect attendees of all ages and professions
SAN DIEGO, CA (March 17, 2016) — San Diego County Credit Union® (SDCCU®), San Diego’s largest locally-owned financial institution, is a proud sponsor of the 7th Annual San Diego Women’s Week, held March 14 – 18, 2016 throughout North San Diego County. The week of events, organized by the North San Diego Business Chamber, is designed to inspire, empower and connect women of all ages and professions.

Hundreds of women from San Diego, Orange, Los Angeles and San Bernardino counties are expected to attend the week-long event. San Diego Women’s Week features speakers who discuss a wide variety of topics that have an impact on people’s lives. The 2016 keynote speakers include: Mallika Chopra, author and entrepreneur and daughter of Deepak Chopra; Padma Lakshmi, the host of the Emmy Award-winning, top-rated Bravo series Top Chef; Naomi Tutu, daughter of Archbishop Desmond Tutu, who focuses on the responsibility of being human; Cohn Restaurant Group Executive Chef Deborah Scott, one of San Diego’s most renowned celebrity chefs; Kim Coles, actress, comedienne and author; and Amy Cuddy, a Harvard Business School professor and social psychologist who is known around the world for her 2012 TED Talk, which is the second-most viewed talk in TED’s history.
SDCCU’s own Executive Vice President of Human Resources, Michelle Pagni, will engage in a panel discussion at Friday’s Inspiration Conference titled “Breaking Barriers.” The Inspiration Conference is slated for Friday, March 18 at Harrah’s Resort Southern California.
