San Diego Police Foundation teaches parents and teachers how to identify and handle online issues impacting today’s youth
San Diego County Credit Union presents free seminar on keeping kids safe online
SAN DIEGO, CA (May 11, 2016) — San Diego County Credit Union® (SDCCU®), San Diego’s largest locally-owned financial institution, is presenting a free Tools for Schools seminar for parents and teachers focused on keeping kids safe online. The seminar will be held Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 6 p.m. at Marston Middle School (auditorium), located at 3799 Clairemont Drive.
Representatives from the San Diego Police Foundation will host a presentation and teach parents and teachers how to identify and handle online issue’s impacting today’s youth, such as: protecting privacy while using social networking sites, fighting back against cyberbullying, staying safe from online predators and much more. The presentation is part of the Foundation’s SafetyNet® program, a collaborative program with the San Diego Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
