San Francisco Federal Credit Union Offers New Financial Planning Tool in August

San Francisco, Calif. (August 6, 2012) – San Francisco Federal Credit Union continues to make significant improvements to its online channel by offering a new financial planning tool.

San Francisco Federal Credit Union will soon launch a new, free product for credit union members: a personal financial management tool called “The Big Picture.” Set to release on Aug. 21, “The Big Picture” will be available on San Francisco FCU’s online banking system.
 
“This is a free tool for our members. It allows them to track all of their different accounts from different financial institutions, create budgets, and set goals and alerts,” said Mark Michaels, senior vice president of strategic development at San Francisco Federal Credit Union.
 
“The Big Picture” will build awareness of the credit union’s ability to help individuals plan for short- and long-term financial goals, as well as track income and expenses and promote financial literacy.
 
This new product, created by Geezeo, will also support San Francisco Federal Credit Union’s brand of “Uncommonly Good Banking” for all San Franciscans.

“A personal financial management tool was a high priority for our credit union since we wanted to grow our online banking offerings. Our focus is always our members, and we wanted a product that offered ease and convenience for managing their finances,” Michaels said.
