Savannah Schools FCU Selects CU*South as core data processor

FAIRHOPE, AL (April 24, 2015) — CU*South announced that Savannah Schools FCU has selected the credit-union owned CUSO as its core processing and member services delivery partner. With a conversion scheduled for early 2016, CU*South and Savannah Schools FCU (SSFCU) are already busy planning this exciting transition.

Located in Savannah, Ga., Savannah Schools was founded in 1954 as the Chatham County Teacher Association CU. Reflecting the credit union’s adherence and dedication to cooperative principles like membership, democratic control and service, its logo – a ship’s wheel – depicts the strength and trust for steering a careful financial course.

With 3,700 members and assets approaching $28M, CEO Trish Payne and her team are excited to take advantage of what CU*South’s core software, CU*BASE®, can offer—particularly its marketing features.
