SC Telco Federal Credit Union Builds Habitat for Humanity Home

GREENVILLE, SC (May 20, 2013) SC Telco Federal Credit Union in Greenville, SC, recently raised the wall on the 308th Habitat for Humanity Home in Greenville County. The credit union staff, manage-ment and board raised over $62,000 to pay for the home and are currently building it.

“Habitat for Humanity is excited to be partnering with SC Telco to build this home for the Loop-er Family,” said Barbara Martin, Director of Development, Habitat for Humanity of Greenville County. “The Credit Union folks have really rallied around this project, and are committed to making a difference in our community.”

Terri Hendrix, Community Relations Manager for SC Telco said, “When we looked around at all the worthy organizations to partner with, Habitat for Humanity just seemed like a perfect fit with our Core Values. Both organizations follow the philosophy of ‘giving a hand up’ to our neighbors in the community who need affordable housing for their families.
