Security Service Charitable Foundation makes generous donation to the Road Home Midvale shelter
The mission of The Road Home is to help people step out of homelessness and back into our community.
SALT LAKE CITY, UT (July 29, 2016) — The Security Service Charitable Foundation recently announced a $5,000 donation to The Road Home, a Salt Lake City-based nonprofit with the mission of helping people step out of homelessness and back into the community. The donation will directly support The Road Home’s Midvale Center which offers shelter and supportive services to families with children.
“We are honored to help put the finishing touches on the Midvale Shelter, making it a more comfortable environment for the families living there,” said Greg Reed, senior vice president of member service – Mountain West Region for Security Service. “The Road Home is a blessing to those in our area who are working to overcome homelessness and we could not be more excited to provide them with a donation.”

I look forward to working together with Security Service as we continue to move people out of homelessness and into permanent housing.”
The Road Home provides emergency shelter, case management and housing programs for single men, women and families with children who are experiencing homelessness. In fiscal year 2016, The Road Home served 7,412 people through their shelter programs.
