ServU Credit Union and Haverling High School to open student run branch

PAINTED POST, NY (October 4, 2018) — ServU Federal Credit Union and Haverling High School will be hosting a Grand Opening of “The Vault,” a student run Credit Union branch.

“The Vault” team consists of eleven Haverling students and multiple ServU staff members. Together they will operate the branch during lunch hours twice a week. Faculty, staff and students will be able to complete basic banking transactions at the branch performed by the student tellers.

Our team has been working together since the beginning of the school year to train, create marketing plans and spread the word about the opening day. As the year progresses, student tellers will create financial literacy education opportunities for their peers.

The Grand Opening of the student branch will take place:

Wednesday, October 3rd
10:30 AM
Haverling High School

There will be an introduction by Nancy Williamson (CEO, ServU Credit Union) and Joe Rumsey (Superintendent, Haverling School District) followed by a ribbon cutting.

We invite you to attend the Grand Opening and join us in celebrating this new venture!
