Together Credit Union launches new core processing system
ST. LOUIS, MO (March 9, 2020) — Together Credit Union has converted to a new core processing system designed to provide Members with a
better service experience, improve operational efficiency, and adapt to ever-evolving financial services technologies. The conversion was a three-year undertaking, and completed this month.
“Upgrading our core system, and investing in technology, is fundamental to managing our growth and readying ourselves for future banking capabilities,” said Reggie Swanigan, Chief Information Officer. “This core conversion was a massive undertaking for the credit union. Our former system was in place for 29 years and designed prior to the launch of debit cards, online and mobile banking, electronic signatures, cloud technology, and more. Costly middleware helped fill the technology gaps, but the need for a 21st Century solution was evident in order to deliver the experiences we want to provide for our Members.”
Together Credit Union’s new core processing system, Keystone designed by Corelation, streamlines transactions, account management, lending, and payments across multiple platforms, including mobile banking apps, online banking, and the credit union’s branch network. The core also features a Member-centric architecture that focuses on individual member preferences and behaviors, and seamlessly integrates with fin-tech and third party systems.
While changes to the new core system are primarily transparent to Members, the experiences they receive interacting with the Together Team will be more impactful across all interaction points.
“Our new core system will enhance our personal relationships with Members. Based on current trends, our branch activity will continue to grow and evolve from basic transactions to more advanced financial services, helping Members as they pursue their financial goals,” added Swanigan.
