Sheboygan Memorial Day Brat Fry to benefit Stars and Stripes Honor Flight

KOHLER, WI (May 15, 2017) — Kohler Credit Union is proud to announce that this year’s Sheboygan Memorial Day brat fry will benefit Stars and Stripes Honor Flight, a local nonprofit organization that honors veterans by flying them to Washington, D.C. to visit their memorials. The 2017 Sheboygan Memorial Day parade will take place on Monday, May 29, in downtown Sheboygan beginning at 9:00 am. The brat fry fundraiser will take place in Fountain Park during the Memorial Day ceremony, which takes place immediately after the parade.

Kohler Credit Union has partnered with Old Wisconsin, Sargento Cheese and Lakeside Pepsi to make this year’s brat fry fundraiser a reality.

“Stars and Stripes Honor Flight is so grateful to community partners like Kohler Credit Union, who enable us to continue flying large numbers of deserving vets to Washington, D.C., for the day of honor they have deserved for so long,” said Karyn Roelke, vice president of public relations. “Many of our oldest veterans have never been thanked for their service to our country so long ago, and the incredible support of our community has enabled us to celebrate almost five thousand local heroes since 2008.”
