SHERPA® Identity Protection Product Manager receives CIPA designation
HARRISBURG, PA (July 28, 2016) — The Pennsylvania Credit Union Association (the Association) is pleased to announce that Lindsay Libengood, the Association’s Product Manager for SHERPA® Identity Protection (SHERPA®), has earned the Certified Identity Protection Advisor (CIPA) designation. The CIPA designation is an internationally recognized certification which is designated for professionals who educate, guide, and support consumers with their identity theft prevention, detection, investigation, and resolution needs. The CIPA designation is a registered trademark of Identity Management Institute ®.
SHERPA® was founded by the Association in 2015 to deliver peace of mind to credit unions and their members. With SHERPA®, credit unions are in a position to help members proactively protect their identity and help them recover from any financial damage in the event of a data breach or identity theft. Libengood has been crucial in developing and deploying the service, and her knowledge has now been recognized with the CIPA designation.
