Sikorsky Credit Union celebrates the season with $27,000 in community giving

STRATFORD, CT (December 24, 2025) |

Sikorsky Credit Union provided local nonprofit organizations with $27,000 in donations and toys during the season of giving.

Sikorsky Credit Union branches hosted Toy Drives to benefit children in need throughout the community. The collected toys were donated to the Sterling Community Center, Community Action Agency of Western Connecticut, Boys & Girls Club of Milford, McGivney Community Center, and the Boys & Girls Club of Lower Naugatuck Valley. Each of these organizations, along with BethEl Center, Danbury Youth Services, Center for Family Justice, and Seymour Pink, also received a $3,000 holiday donation from Sikorsky Credit Union.

Amanda Meeson, Executive Director of Sterling Community Center, said, “Sterling Community Center is so grateful to Sikorsky Credit Union for their year-round partnership and support, especially during the holidays. Their toy collections help us bring Christmas cheer to hundreds of local families. This year, we served over 600 kids, offering their parents or guardians the opportunity to shop and pick the perfect gifts for their little ones and teens. Thanks to the generosity of partners like Sikorsky Credit Union, we are able to support families in meaningful ways during the holiday season.”

“Giving back is more than a tradition for us—it’s a responsibility,” said Whitney Cadett, Vice President of Marketing and Strategic Growth at Sikorsky Credit Union. “Supporting our community partners helps keep our neighborhoods strong, resilient, and connected. We are especially grateful to our members and employees whose generosity made our Toy Drives possible and helped bring joy to so many families during this special time of the year.”
