Silver State Schools Credit Union (SSSCU), in partnership with Towbin Kia, has presented a brand new 2025 Kia K4 to Ms. Kelly Dodder, an 8th grade Math Teacher at Jack and Terry Mannion Middle School, as part of SSSCU’s Annual Teacher Car Giveaway. The initiative celebrates outstanding educators for their commitment to students.
“This is probably one of the best things that has ever happened,” said Dodder.
For many years, Silver State Schools Credit Union has partnered with a Southern Nevada auto dealership to award a new vehicle to an educator in need. This year, SSSCU continued its longstanding tradition of supporting a deserving teacher alongside Towbin Kia and the Clark County School District. Teachers are nominated based on how they engage and support students in the classroom and in extracurricular activities, and also importantly, how each teacher has overcome personal challenges or hardships to continue serving their students.
