PIERRE, SD (January 29, 2015) -- The Credit Union Association of the Dakotas (CUAD) South Dakota Legislative Event took place in Pierre, SD on January 28, 2015. The event kicked off at 1:30 when over 30 credit union professionals participated in the “Hike the Hill” at the state capitol. The afternoon continued with an open forum held at the Ramkota Inn, followed by a Legislative Social. Credit union professionals had the opportunity to meet and speak with over 70 South Dakota legislators in attendance.
“We are pleased with the strong turn-out for this annual event” stated Robbie Thompson, President/CEO of CUAD. “Whenever we can show our presence and meet directly with our elected representatives, we strengthen the credit union movement,” he added.
