South Jersey Federal Credit Union donates over 650 books to public schools
DEPTFORD, NJ (December 6, 2017) — South Jersey Federal Credit Union (SJFCU) donated over 650 books from the Little Rhino Books Series, authored by Ryan Howard, former Phillies first baseman and World Series Champion.
The book donations were made to all 2nd and 3rd grade public school classrooms in the communities which have a local SJFCU branch, including Camden, Deptford, Glassboro, Moorestown, Pleasantville, Vineland and Voorhees, New Jersey and Philadelphia and Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
In addition, a book signing was held in early November for Members of South Jersey Federal Credit Union and for every book purchased at the signings, SJFCU donated a book to the school of the Member’s choosing. This resulted in an additional donation of 120 books to schools throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
