Spreading the love: The Community Partnership foundation grants York County nonprofits $30,000 at annual luncheon

Local nonprofits invited to apply for spring 2024 funds

ROCK HILL, SOUTH CAROLINA (February 15, 2024) — Continuing its mission to drive positive change in its community, The Community Partnership Foundation (The CPF) awarded a total of $30,000 to 16 local nonprofits at its recent “Spread the Love” luncheon. The CPF reviews and distributes grants twice a year, in the spring and fall, to York County organizations committed to advancing the quality of life in the region. Applicants must have a 501c3 status, or be obtaining one, and ensure the funds will be used in York County, S.C.

“We are committed to making our community a better place for all,” said Rachel Leduc,president of The CPF and marketing manager at Family Trust Federal Credit Union. “Since ourinception in 2020, we have donated over $180,000 to local nonprofits that support and improve the lives of York County residents. I’m honored and humbled to lead this mission and I look forward to increasing awareness so that we can give more to organizations in the future.”

The recipients from the 2023 Fall Grants were: Above and Beyond Tutoring, Bethel Shelters, Bright Side Youth Ranch, Chasing the Wake, Children’s Attention Home Inc., Defend theFatherless, Girls on the Run Tri-County S.C., Liv to Gro Inc., Love N Cherish Family CenterInc., Mercy House, NAMI Piedmont Tri-County, Power of PROGENY Foundation, Rock Hill Sigmas Foundation, Rock Hill Schools Education Foundation, Steppin’ High, York County Pearls of Promise and Foundation Inc. 

Applications for Spring 2024 grants are now being accepted and will remain open through April 15. Local organizations can request up to $5,000 of funding through The CPF’s website,www.thecommunitypartnershipfoundation.org. For more information on how to apply, follow The CPF on Instagram.

“We encourage all eligible York County nonprofits to apply for support and to reach out with any questions,” said Leduc.
