Storyfi named 2026 New CUSO of the Year

Michigan-based video production and content marketing CUSO recognized for innovation, collaboration, and service to the credit union movement

LIVONIA, MI (April 29, 2026) |

Storyfi, a Credit Union Service Organization (CUSO) specializing in video production, content creation, and marketing strategy, today announced it has been named the 2026 New CUSO of the Year by the National Association of Credit Union Service Organizations (NACUSO), the leading association for CUSOs and collaborative credit union innovation.

The award, presented annually at the NACUSO Reimagine 2026 Conference in Orlando, Fla., recognizes a young CUSO that has demonstrated exceptional growth, meaningful impact within the credit union movement, and a commitment to the cooperative principles at the heart of the industry.

Storyfi's work spans the full content lifecycle of content production. This includes strategic planning and scriptwriting to full-scale video production and multi-platform distribution. They deliver content solutions that help organizations articulate their mission, differentiate their brand, and deepen relationships with the people they serve.

Founded three years ago, Storyfi has rapidly grown to serve more than 140 clients — including credit unions, fellow CUSOs, financial industry service providers, fintechs, and purpose-driven organizations outside of financial services. The company has earned 47 industry awards across some of the most competitive creative competitions in the country, including 17 Diamond Awards from America's Credit Unions, 14 Addy Awards, 13 Telly Awards, 2 MAC Awards, and a Summit International Emerging Media Award.

"This recognition from NACUSO means everything to our team and to the credit union partners who believed in what we were building from the very beginning," said Nick Olexa, Co-founder and CEO of Storyfi. "Credit unions have always had extraordinary stories to tell — stories rooted in community, in purpose, in the genuine belief that financial services can be a force for good. Storyfi was built to help tell those stories with the creativity and conviction they deserve. And honestly, some of our best ideas are still ahead of us."

Looking ahead, Storyfi has several strategic initiatives in development, including a state-of-the-art production studio in Michigan designed to elevate the quality and accessibility of content production for credit unions and their partners, and a first-of-its-kind crowdfunding media platform built specifically to amplify credit union-driven media initiatives. Together, these investments signal Storyfi's long-term commitment to not just serving the credit union movement, but helping to shape what the next chapter of cooperative storytelling looks like.
