LATHAM, NY (December 2, 2013) -- Brittney Wensley, a mortgage processor for Sunmark Federal Credit Union, was selected as one of five national participants to “crash” Credit Union National Association’s (CUNA) Lending Council Conference in Phoenix, AZ.
For the third year, the Executive Committee for the CUNA Lending Council offered a unique opportunity for young credit union professionals to “crash” their council meeting in November. Five young professionals, selected from a pool of applicants from across the country, were given the opportunity to attend sessions on lending topics and network with credit union leaders. The “crashers” also received complimentary conference registration, accommodations and a one year membership to the CUNA Lending Council.
Wensley has been with Sunmark for the previous five years and was recently promoted from quality control mortgage processor in the Risk Management Department. In her current role, she is responsible for collecting outstanding conditions from borrowers, preparing commitment letters, and organizing application packages for underwriter review. She has an associate degree from Hudson Valley Community College (Troy, N.Y.) and resides in Colonie, N.Y.
