Surviving a Layoff: Making Ends Meet on a Reduced Income Austin, TX – In a time of layoffs and reductions in forces, A+ Federal Credit Union (A+FCU) offers a workshop and webinar series dedicated to helping the unemployed overcome the obstacles they face. As part of A+FCU’s “Surviving My Layoff” workshop series, beginning April 21, unemployed or soon-to-be unemployed residents are encouraged to take charge of their financial futures by planning for their reduction in income. The first workshop will focus on transitioning to a new career, finding a new job, and starting a small business.
