Sustainability in action: Credit unions building an inclusive, equitable & green future

Curious about what the credit union movement in New York looks like?

NEW YORK, NY (January 17, 2024) — Join us on an engaging and informational site visit to Brooklyn Coop, a long time Inclusiv member, to learn about their amazing history and community impact while also learning about Brooklyn, one the most iconic NYC boroughs.

Besides visiting Brooklyn Coop’s recently relocated branch, you will also experience:

Bedford-Stuyvesant, an iconic Brooklyn Neighborhood that, since the 1930s, has been a hub for Black culture in New York and has experienced extreme wealth and poverty.  It also boasts Brooklyn’s largest stock of well-known, and coveted, brownstone residential buildings.

Restoration Plaza, which began as the Sheffield Farms Milk Bottling Plant, and has for the last 50 years been a hub for community life in Central Brooklyn and home to Restoration as well as the historic Billie Holiday Theatre and many local businesses and organizations.
