– Two-part survey systematically identifies, honors top San Diego employers –
MONETT, MO (September 23, 2014) -- Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. (NASDAQ:JKHY), a leading provider of technology solutions and payment processing services primarily for the financial services industry, today announced that its Symitar® division was named to the 2014 Best Places to Work in San Diego list. Symitar has received this commendation for four consecutive years.
The survey and recognition program is designed to identify and honor the best places of employment in San Diego, positively contributing to the county's employment and economy. The 2014 Best Places to Work in San Diego list is comprised of 100 total companies; Symitar was number 17 on the list of mega employers, those with more than 2,000 employees.

The first part of the survey, approximately 25 percent of the total evaluation, assessed each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The second part, making up the remaining approximate 75 percent, surveyed employees to measure their experience. These combined scores determined the top companies and final ranking. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process in San Diego and also analyzed the data to determine the final rankings.
The annual list was made possible by the San Diego Business Journal, Best Companies Group and sponsored by Moss Adams LLP, Kaiser Permanente, United Concordia, Active Network and Paradise Point. To be considered, companies must be a for-profit, not-for-profit or government entity; be publicly or privately held; have a facility in San Diego; have at least 15 employees working in San Diego; and have been in business a minimum of one year.
