SANTA FE, NM (October 16, 2023) — Guadalupe Credit Union (GCU) is thrilled to announce the promotion of Tanya Romero-Sturgeon to President/CEO. As she takes the helm, Tanya is set to build upon the foundation laid by her predecessor, Winona Nava. Tanya’s proven leadership skills and unwavering commitment to GCU’s mission make this a seamless transition at a pivotal time for the credit union.
Tanya’s journey at GCU started 21 years ago as a Member Service Representative. Her passion for service and knack for leadership have seen her advance through various roles, including Branch Operations Manager, and Chief Operations Officer/SVP.
