TCCU celebrates Member Appreciation Day

FORT WORTH, TX (April 4, 2017) — Tarrant County’s Credit Union celebrated an eventful Member Appreciation Day on Friday, March 17, 2017, at all branch locations.

On St. Patrick’s Day, Tarrant County’s Credit Union showed appreciation to their members while raising money for the Humane Society of North Texas. The theme of this year’s Member Appreciation Day was “Go Green with TCCU”, with a focus on all things green.  On hand were Liberty Mutual representatives providing quotes on auto, home and life insurance offering members the opportunity to save some green, staff collected donations of green for the Humane Society of North Texas and staff also helped members go green by signing them up for e-Statements.

The credit union holds Member Appreciation Day annually to show members gratitude for being a part of the TCCU family.

“It’s our pleasure each year to set aside a day of appreciation for our members.  It’s a time that we can engage with members about the advances we’ve made in products and services on their behalf and thank them for their membership,” Andrea Spencer, TCCU marketing manager, said.

Snacks, giveaways, mobile app services and demonstrations were provided at all branch locations. TCCU’s goal is to provide awareness of the many mobile services offered, such as the Sprig and CardNav apps – products that provide account access and protection to members while on the go.

For two weeks leading up to Member Appreciation Day members had a chance to purchase tickets for two prize drawings. The drawings were for two $750 value baskets; each basket was filled with gift cards to local businesses.  One basket included a pair of Maverick’s game tickets and the other a pair of Texas Ranger’s game tickets. TCCU, with the help of its members through ticket sales, was able to raise over $1,000 dollars for donation to the Humane Society of North Texas.

Also during Member Appreciation Day, TCCU hosted a Car Buying 101 Lunch N’ Learn with Galli Davis. The Lunch N’ Learn covered valuable tips on purchasing new and used cars.  Davis also discussed how partnering with your credit union is an advantage in the car buying experience.
TCCU’s Member Appreciation Day celebration was engaging and successful, and TCCU is looking forward to next year’s celebration.
