Teachers Credit Union announces the promotion of Carrie Upchurch to Area Manager with responsibilities for managing the credit union’s branches in St. John, Gary, Hammond, Whiting and Chesterton.
Carrie has 15 years of banking experience, including five years as manager of TCU’s St. John branch. Carrie graduated with honors from IUPUI, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies. She is active in the community, serving on the board of the St. John-Dyer Chamber of Commerce and on a leadership committee with the American Heart Association. Carrie is a past president of the Highland-Griffith Chamber of Commerce, and she has volunteered regularly with Habitat for Humanity.
