TDECU honored by the Texas Association of School Boards and Hallettsville ISD for its commitment to education
LAKE JACKSON, TX (October 28, 2015) — Serving and helping others is in TDECU’s DNA, so when TDECU’s Hallettsville Member Center, led by Manager Jo Beth Tieken, was recognized by Mike Rains, Division Director for the Texas Association of School Boards, at the annual Hallettsville ISD Bell Awards, it was an honor to its 60-year heritage. The awards are held annuallyto give 10 senior students the opportunity to thank a teacher who has impacted their life in a positive way. HallettsvilleISD Superintendent Dr. Jo Ann Bludau thanked TDECU for its strong support of the school district and the community, citing the numerous ways TDECU assists the district throughout the year; from sponsoring the Bell Awards annually to hosting a back-to-school lunch for teachers to presenting educational programs in the schools. TDECU is proud to support education initiatives across the state which improve the lives of community members.
