SPOKANE, WA (September 29, 2015) — Team Global was truly global on September 20, 2015. Four distinct teams represented Global Credit Union by participating in the JDRF OneWalk. Team GlobalSpokane participated at Riverfront Park in Spokane while Team GlobalDarby, Team GlobalVicenza and Team GlobalAviano participated in Italy.
Team Global’s Ambassador, Lauren, is the daughter of Global’s Marketing & Strategy Vice President, Abigail Franklin. Earlier this year, Lauren nearly died from complications due to Type-1 Diabetes onset. Lauren has made an incredible recovery and is back to being a typical and normal 8 year-old.
Team Global raised over $3,800 through pledges and fundraising and we are proud to be a part of the campaign to turn Type One Diabetes into Type None.
