ARLINGTON, TEXAS (October 23, 2023) — Texas Trust Gives Foundation kicked off the 2023 Holiday Giving season with a $2,000 check to the Mansfield ISD annual Toys for Tots toy drive. The check was presented live on the local Fox TV affiliate in Dallas. The donation will be used to purchase bikes to be given to local children this Christmas.
The donation was part of Mansfield’s challenge to other school districts and cities to host their own Toys for Tot campaign this year.
For the last 12 years, Texas Trust has coordinated large toy drives and given nearly $65,000 to the Toys for Tots campaign.
Today’s donation was the first received by the Mansfield Toys for Tot drive. The Texas Trust Gives Foundation will be holding a toy drive at Texas Trust Credit Union branches throughout November. The toys it collects will be delivered to the Mansfield ISD Toys for Tots Community Drive and Holiday event on November 30, along with another financial donation.

The Texas Trust Gives Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to touching hearts and changing lives. It is the charitable arm for Texas Trust Credit Union, a $2 billion financial institution. The foundation provides scholarships to college students, awards charitable grants, and organizes volunteer efforts through the Community Unity Team for local community events.
