TFCU hosts interns from Co-Operative Productions!
TAUNTON, MA (February 22, 2017) — This winter, Taunton Federal Credit Union hosted 3 interns from Co-Operative Productions Inc. Co-Op is a not for profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with developmental and other disabilities to become valued members of their communities. Eric, Katelyn & Michaela joined TFCU for 8 weeks, along with Co-Op staff members Maria & Amanda, to assist with special projects and shadow in different departments throughout the credit union in order to develop their work skills.
At the completion of the program, and as a thank you for their incredible dedication and effort throughout the 8 weeks, TFCU’s Public Relations Committee donated all of the funds from one of their weekly Dress Down Days to Co-Op. The Dress Down Program is funded by TFCU employees who donate money on a weekly basis in order to dress down on Fridays. Our Public Relations Committee, consisting of one employee from each department, then meets on a monthly basis to discuss how they would like to donate funds that have been raised through this program.
