The Excitement builds: CUFEN’s Annual Conference set to bring the latest financial education trends and thought leaders to the biggest little city in the world

ST. PAUL, MINN (March 27, 2024) — As financial literacy continues to be at the forefront of many credit union initiatives, the Credit Union Financial Education Network (CUFEN) is excited to bring the much-anticipated return of its annual conference to Reno, Nev., set to take place from July 21-24 at the Renaissance Reno Downtown Hotel & Spa. This year’s conference promises to ignite innovation, foster collaboration, and chart a positive course for the future of financial education.

CUFEN attendees can expect a dynamic program featuring thought-provoking panel discussions, the latest financial literacy platforms, interactive workshops, and networking opportunities designed to inspire and empower.

“CUFEN believes in the power of collective intelligence to drive meaningful change,” said Trysh Olson, chair of CUFEN. “The Annual Conference serves as a catalyst for forging connections, sharing insights, and co-creating financial education solutions. John Nolan from Y-12 Credit Union in Tenn., who attended the 2023 conference in Burlington, Vt., says he is eager to get to Reno. “Every year the CUFEN Conference is one of the most exciting weeks I spend with other financial education leaders. I always walk away with new and valuable financial literacy knowledge that equips me to serve my members and communities. Not only do we learn insight, but the conference team really provides a fun environment for attendees,” said Nolan.

Registration for the CUFEN 2024 Conference is now open at a limited-time early bird discounted registration rate of $795. Attendees must register by April 30, 2024, to secure the discounted rate. After the deadline, registration will be $895. Hotel rates for the conference are $249 per night.
