Halfway through the competition – who’s in the Top 10?

MIDDLETOWN, PA (September 2, 2014) -- The competition is heating up in The Great Transaction Challenge, according to MY CU Services. The company’s contest – encouraging institutions to increase their electronic bill payment (EBP) usage in 2014 – has surpassed the halfway point.

Here’s a look at the leaderboard after the second quarter:

“The Great Transaction Challenge has really made an impact in the first half of the year, as we are seeing a large uptick in the number of electronic bill payment transactions for some of these credit unions compared with last year’s numbers,” said Jaime Agostino, director of marketing for MY CU Services. “We’re excited to see how much the credit unions can further expand their usage in the next few months.”

The Great Transaction Challenge was designed to assist credit unions increase their EBP marketing efforts with the support of MY CU Services, a wholly-owned CUSO of Mid-Atlantic Corporate Federal Credit Union, by providing marketing resources to help credit unions promote the benefits and convenience of EBP to their membership. The winning credit union whose EBP volumes outperform 2013 levels by the greatest percentage will be awarded free bill payment in 2015 (not to exceed $5,000).
