Three Hiway Credit Union professionals selected for inaugural MNCUN executive readiness program

ST. PAUL, MN (September 17, 2021) — Hiway Credit Union® is proud to announce three Hiway associates have been accepted into the Minnesota Credit Union Network’s inaugural Trailblazers Executive Readiness Training program. Hiway’s Brianne Meszaros (Vice President of Branch Operations, Andy Deans (Mortgage Servicing Manager) and Sarah Pedersen (Indirect Lending Underwriter) join 27 other MnCUN professionals in the 12-month program.

The Trailblazers Executive Readiness program, which is designed to accelerate executive level leadership skills and build credit union specific knowledge needed to succeed in the credit union industry, was created and developed by a group of MnCUN professionals.

“I am excited to a part of the Executive Readiness Training program,” said Deans, who along with nine other Minnesota Credit Union professionals helped design the curriculum for the program. “It is vital to the industry that we not only look for opportunities to prepare ourselves to be leaders but that we take part in those opportunities both to grow professionally and to aid in the development of qualified executives for our industry.”

The Trailblazers Executive Readiness Training program is intended to prepare emerging leaders for executive level positions. Topics include Leadership Skills, Credit Union Financials, Credit Union Operations, and Strategic Planning & Growth. Courses will be facilitated by both experts in the field and current credit union leaders. Upon completion, participants will receive a Minnesota Credit Union Executive Leadership Certification.
