Three Member One Federal Credit Union employees accept board appointments at local non-profit organizations
ROANOKE, VA (September 21, 2016) — Jessica Clarkson, Assistant Vice President Business Development at Member One Federal Credit Union was recently appointed to the board of directors at Susan G. Komen Virginia Blue Ridge.
Clarkson’s position officially begins January 2017 and is a two-year term. Clarkson said she wanted to be on the board to help raise awareness of breast cancer and promote early detection.
Clarkson, a Lynchburg native, focuses on business development at Member One FCU specifically in the Lynchburg market. Clarkson is looking forward to helping the Komen Blue Ridge chapter grow and expand events and fundraising opportunities in Lynchburg.
“I want to help better the lives of those impacted by breast cancer. My mom passed away from breast cancer, so I have a very personal connection and want to get involved and help in any way possible,” Clarkson said.

Frank Giannini, Assistant Vice President Business Development at Member One Federal Credit Union, has been appointed to the Pulaski County Chamber of Commerce board of directors, effective September 2016.
Frank has been with Member One for 6 years. He serves as the credit union representative to its partner companies located in the New River Valley, and supports Member One’s two NRV branches in Christiansburg and Fairlawn, Va.
Giannini is also a member and past-president of the Rotary Club of Roanoke Valley and currently serves as an advisor for Leadership Roanoke Valley.

This past August, Chad King, Market Manager of Member One’s Salem, Va. Retail Center, was appointed to a two-year term to the board of directors of Junior Achievement of Southwest Virginia.
