Tinker Federal Credit Union announced new senior vice president of operations

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK (December 29, 2025) |

Tinker Federal Credit Union (TFCU) recently promoted Edgar Medina to senior  vice president of operations. Medina steps into the role following more than two decades of service to the credit union.

Throughout his career at TFCU, Medina has held various roles including AVP and branch manager at the Capitol Hill branch  and most recently vice president and director of lending. His background blends years of expertise in operations, lending and  leadership, creating a good foundation for his new role overseeing operational excellence across the credit union.

In his new position, Medina will oversee daily operations and guide initiatives that support both in-branch and remote service.  He plans to focus on improving convenience for members while continuing to uphold the personalized service that defines  TFCU branches, contact center and ITM channels. Joseph Arthur, chief operations officer at TFCU, said Medina’s approach to  leadership and service make him a great fit for this responsibility.

“Edgar’s strong academic and professional background paired with his passion for serving members and employees make him  exceptionally well suited for this role,” Arthur said. “He is a true ambassador for our organization continuously promoting our  mission, values and commitment to members.”

Medina said he looks forward to this new role and continuing work that both strengthens the member experience and  supports a workplace culture focused on empathy, accountability and growth.

“Through different channels, projects and programs, TFCU always strives for excellence,” said Medina. “The ability to show up  for our members and employees in a variety of ways is what makes me most proud to work at TFCU and take on this new  role.”
