TMG Announces 2011 Client Conference Agenda

(Des Moines, Iowa – March 31, 2011) –TMG (The Members Group) has released its 2011 Client Conference agenda, which follows this year’s event theme: Changing Times. Changing Visions. Advancing the Future. The agenda comprises presentations tailored to TMG’s client base of financial institutions (FIs) interested in enhancing their credit, debit and prepaid card programs.

The conference, scheduled for July 11 – 13, 2011, at The Lodge in Sonoma, Calif., will kick-off Monday with a golf event, evening reception and keynote speaker.

Back by popular demand, Kelly McDonald of McDonald Marketing opens the Client Conference as the keynote speaker sharing her insight on customer service. McDonald will give a 90-minute presentation on how to keep your members rushing back for more. Immediately following she will sign copies of her new book, How to Market to People Not Like You.

Tuesday begins with a presentation on alternative payments by Dwolla founder Ben Milne and TMG’s executive vice president Jeff Russell.  Later that morning, the Debit Interchange Panel will discuss the impact of new regulations on community-based FIs. First Data will conduct a presentation on how rewards can be used to drive loyalty in a challenging environment.

Andrea Stritzke of PolicyWorks will close the day, covering important compliance topics. That evening, attendees will be invited to an Experience Sonoma event, as well as an evening reception.

Jeffry Pilcher of The Financial Brand is Wednesday’s opening speaker. Pilcher will confront the issue of social media. Next, a representative from VISA will share insight on the credit card environment.

Also on Wednesday, TMG will present tools and solutions to keep up with today’s card market competition.  In closing, TMG’s fraud expert Karen Postma will host a fraud workshop offering an interactive analysis of attending FIs’ fraud trends. Wednesday evening, TMG will hold a Sonoma Valley Winery Tour and a closing event.
