TMG Builds Online Community to Facilitate Cards & Payments Conversations

With this week’s launch of TMG NOW, The Members Group (TMG) connects its financial institution clients with one another for the sharing of tips, lessons learned and best practices in cards and payments programs.

In addition to connecting clients, the interactive Website also aims to better unite TMG’s clients with its personnel, products, expertise and critical notifications, such as fraud alerts or system maintenance notifications.

The Website powers an exclusive peer chat tool allowing clients to interact, ask questions and share advice. In addition, clients will find a text-message alert option that gives recipients real-time updates on their mobile phones. A calendar of TMG and industry events and a resources library housing product information, forms and card program resources are also available on the site.

“On-demand technology has become an expectation in the mind of today’s consumer,” said Georgann Smith, director of marketing and communication for TMG. “Why should it be any different for our clients? When they are looking for the kind of information that can so dramatically impact their FI’s bottom line, we want them to have it at the precise moment they need it.”

Angela Boggess, Card Services Manager for Orlando Federal Credit Union, participated in the beta testing of TMG NOW. “The site is a gateway to all things relevant within our industry,” said Boggess. “It’s the kind of information we need to take our card programs to the next level.”  

TMG continues its commitment to customization by allowing clients to tailor TMG NOW to their specific interests. Users can configure the home page to include 10 quick links of their choosing and can specify which category of news alerts is most pertinent to their roles (e.g. marketing vs. fraud).

Clients engaged in the use of TMG NOW will be invited by TMG personnel to participate in polls and discussions, giving the company the ability to fine-tune its services based on specific client demand.
