TMG Honored with NOVA, Davey Awards

(Des Moines, Iowa – May 23, 2012) – The Members Group (TMG) has received recognition from the Iowa Chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA Iowa) with three NOVA Awards and the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA) with a Davey Award for excellence in its 2011 marketing programs.
AMA Iowa created the NOVA Awards to honor marketing programs that deliver results. A record number of entries were judged on the strategy, tactics and the results achieved that supported the marketing objectives. Competitors for the NOVA awards range from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies.
In this year’s NOVA competition, TMG received Best of Category distinction for its media relations campaign. This category recognized excellence in all elements of TMG’s public relations efforts intended to gain earned media and increase awareness of its expertise in the payments environment. The agency behind the NOVA award-winning efforts for TMG is Kelly Moore Consulting, Inc., of Des Moines.
TMG also received third-place honors in two NOVA categories: Marketing Communications (2011 white paper series) and Interactive Marketing (2011 webinar series).
As well, TMG’s advertising campaign, “Be a Superhero,” received a silver award from the 2011 International Davey Awards. The Davey Awards are focused on honoring outstanding creative work that exemplifies fresh ideas and exceptional execution, not the biggest budgets. The competition, sanctioned by the IAVA, is the largest and most prestigious awards competition exclusively for smaller creative agencies.
