Trellance incorporates giving into Immersion18 experience

Conference app campaign launched to support CU 4 Kids

TAMPA, FL (May 1, 2018) — Trellance, the newly re-emerged CUSO with a commitment to providing innovative yet simple solutions to help credit unions adapt and thrive, announced a conference app campaign via its social media sites. Attendees for its immersion18 conference are being encouraged to download the conference app and post pictures chronicling their preparation, travel, and arrival to the conference within the app. In turn, Trellance will donate $2 for each post made in the app to CU 4 Kids.

“We wanted to incorporate a component that exhibits our support to the credit union community into the conference experience, like we did with our golf outing last year. Historically, we have always experienced very high engagement with our conference app, so we figured that we could connect this fun activity to a worthy cause that resonates with credit unions,” says VP of marketing, Jennifer Bryant. “CU 4 Kids is a charity that we have donated to in the past and we thought it was a good choice for this initiative,” added Bryant.

The immersion18 conference app will allow attendees to build their own custom agenda, get real time updates and reminders of conference activities, bookmark sessions of interest, and interact with their credit union peers, favorite speakers and exhibitors. It is available on Google Play Store and the Apple App Store by searching for “immersion18”. The default password is also immersion18.

The campaign will run up to midnight on May 8, 2018 and an official announcement of the amount raised from the initiative will be made during the conference at Exceptional Member Initiative (EMI) Awards luncheon on May 10, 2018.

The immersion18 conference kicks off with Trellance’s inaugural Realize Payments Academy on Tuesday, May 8. The keynote speaker is Daymond John, the “Shark Tank” investor and FUBU creator who will share his inspiring rags-to-riches tale and the self-made success fundamentals that help others set and achieve goals. The conference will also feature Theresa Payton, the first female to serve as White House chief information officer and star of the CBS TV series “Hunted”; along with industry speakers such as Mollie Bell, John Best, Kirk Drake, Victor Oliveira, Glen Sarvady, Lori Hodges and more. It ends with a golf outing at the Grande Oaks Golf Club or a mansion row water taxi tour along the “Venice Isles of America” on Friday, May 11.

The conference will be held at the Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
