OKLAHOMA CITY, OK (September 14, 2015) — Focus Federal Credit Union held a Community Block Party at their newly opened Tri-City Branch in Newcastle, Oklahoma. Residents, workers and business owners from Newcastle, Blanchard, Tuttle and Bridge Creek turned out for free lunch and a chance to win a stainless steel grill, 48” HDTV and a $500 VISA Gift Card.
Guests were treated to a cookout with hot dogs, hamburgers and old fashioned sodas. The Focus team kept everyone busy with lots of fun activities including a photo booth, lawn games and an ice cream cart.
Local duo Southern Rift, entertained the crowd with a blend of country, pop and bluegrass music.
Paul Arambula, Marketing and Web Communications expert, came up with the idea for a Block Party as a way to engage the community as well as give people an opportunity to network and learn about the many unique benefits of a credit union. Also, the event gave everyone a chance to get outside, have some fun and enjoy the beautiful weather.
