Truliant names Stevens vice president of credit administration

WINSTON-SALEM, NC (June 25, 2019) — Truliant Federal Credit Union has named Alice Stevens to the newly created role of vice president of credit administration.

She will be responsible for overall leadership, performance and administration of the credit union’s consumer lending program, working in collaboration with Truliant’s Member Contact Center, Member Financial Center and its digital teams.

Stevens is a thirty-year credit union executive with experience in all areas of credit union leadership with demonstrated success, having had responsibility for strategic planning, mission fulfillment, lending, branch and back office operations, marketing and business development and human resources.

She reports to Chris Murray, senior vice president, member experience and operations.

As a seasoned executive with a wealth of knowledge in credit administration, she will increase our expertise in managing credit risk,” Murray said. “We look forward to her continuing to enhance Truliant’s strong position in the marketplace and in helping the credit union offer the best products and services to members.”

Stevens has a proven track record managing expense reduction through streamlined delivery channels, loan and deposit growth, membership growth and product penetration. Prior to joining Truliant, she worked as chief operations officer at Piedmont Advantage Credit Union.

She began her financial services career in 1996 as a lending manager for Sharonview Federal Credit Union. She is a former vice president of lending at Bellwether Community Credit Union.

Other previous roles include chief operating officer at Wall, NJ’s First Financial Federal Credit Union, and chief lending officer at Nymeo Federal Credit Union. Stevens has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Montreat College.
