Truliant promotes Alderman to vice president of member experience

WINSTON-SALEM, NC (November 7, 2019) — Truliant Federal Credit Union has promoted Kim Alderman to the role of vice president of member experience.

Alderman will be responsible for oversight of Truliant’s branch network, including supervision of regional and operational directors, and overall branch administration. She will ensure that all member interactions serve the credit union’s mission to improve lives.

Alderman reports to Chris Murray, senior vice president of member experience and operations.

“Kim is a proven leader who continues to demonstrate a great deal of passion for helping our members,” Murray said. “Her success in creating solutions that positively impact their financial lives can be felt throughout the credit union. She is a tremendous asset to Truliant.”

Alderman joined Truliant in 2016 as regional director for Member Financial Centers in Truliant’s Central Region. She led and supervised those locations. Most recently, she served as director of Truliant Mortgage Services, with responsibility for the overall leadership of the department.

Prior to joining Truliant, Alderman served as a First Community Bank regional manager for Forsyth and Surry counties. Overseeing the consumer and mortgage portfolio, Alderman successfully managed teams in retail and mortgage lending.

Alderman began her financial-services career in 1999 as a customer-service representative for Central Carolina Bank in Winston-Salem. Over the next decade she held many different roles in areas such as personal banking, small-business banking, mortgage lending and investments.

She has been active with United Way in several capacities, and is currently a member of its Women’s Community Council. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Clemmons Food Pantry. Alderman has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Bluefield State College and a Master of Business Administration from Gardner-Webb University.
